About Math Mojo

Math Mojo was founded by two sisters, Falak and Malak, who grew up in Ontario. Malak holds a degree in Math and a Master’s in Teaching, and has years of experience tutoring students. Together, we saw a growing issue: students are struggling to meet the provincial math standards, and there’s been a noticeable decline in math proficiency. Many families have a hard time finding tutors who are knowledgeable about the Ontario Math Curriculum, which is where we come in.

At Math Mojo, we’re on a mission to change that. Our goal is simple: to help students build confidence in their math skills so they can perform better in school and unlock more opportunities for their future. We match students with trusted, experienced tutors who understand the curriculum and can offer the personalized support they need. We believe every student should feel capable and empowered in math, without the frustration of searching for the right help.
